Happy Families was a rural comedy drama written by Ben Elton which appeared on the BBC in 1985 and told the story of the dysfunctional Fuddle family. It starred Jennifer Saunders as Granny Fuddle, Dawn French as the Cook and Adrian Edmondson as her imbecilic grandson Guy. The plot centred around Guy's attempts to find his four sisters - also played by Saunders, for a family reunion.

The film's theme is four episodes that offer the public a glimpse into the lives of rich and poor families in Italy in the 1960s.

Sophia Burns and her stepmom, Shay Sights, have been hosting an exchange student, Emma Jade, at their home for the past week. Sophia and Emma have been getting along famously- they have the same interests, they've both just turned eighteen, and they just might have developed a naughty crush on each other! Nikki Benz walks into her living room to find her stepdaughter, Chloe Temple, chatting on the couch with her classmate, Reese Robbins. Nikki sends an annoyed glance at Chloe, reminding her that she can't have any friends over until she finished all her schoolwork. Chloe explains that, in fact, they are doing schoolwork. Soon enough, this lesson turns into a hands-on course with a sizzling, playful threesome. Sky Pierce is relaxing in the living room with her sugar mama, Ana Foxxx. They exchange sultry kisses and clasp their hands together, expressing just how much they love being with each other.

It turns out that Andrei Tarkovsky’s great-grandfather and Ivan Tobilevych (Karpenko-Karyi) have family ties. In this film, Vadym Skurativskyi, a curious Ukrainian cultural historian, recounts this unexpected phenomenon, taking us to the tailend of the 19th century. Sergii Masloboishchykov recreates photographs of relatives and imposes them with the films of Tarkovsky.
